Although I almost took a year off, to travel around and consecrate myself to some diverse activities, I still worked on some design projects.
The outcome of one is my first collaboration with Billiani.
A company located in the very heart of the Italian chair industry, in the "Triangolo della Sedia", Billiani produces wooden furniture, mainly for the contract sector.
It's genuinely impressive that despite taking almost a year off for travel and other activities, you still managed to embark on significant design projects, like this first collaboration with Billiani. Their location in the renowned "Triangolo della Sedia" for wooden furniture in the contract sector really highlights a focused expertise. I'm curious about the specific creative challenges and inspirations found when designing for such a specialized segment, almost like navigating the intricate social structures of a town of salem.
